Wavy lines give the impression of a flowing form. Inspired by nature, its biomorphic silhouettes, Giancarlo Zema Design Group creates objects using new technologies to ensure that complex things are not only filled with modern aesthetics, but also demonstrate maximum performance and functionality. Designers led by Giancarlo Zema, the founder of this architectural studio, believe that a well-thought-out construction of a thing in combination with the latest technologies gives birth to a new objective world.
Giancarlo Zema Design Group is an architectural studio in Rome specializing in environmental projects, in the field of innovative architecture of structures, marine parks, floating habitats, yachts and interior design. Founded in 2001 by the architect Giancarlo Gema, it is a dynamic and flexible organization, it covers the entire design process, from conception to the creation of a real thing. GZDG uses advanced technologies and software for design.
One of the latest projects is the collection Octopus Collection.
The octopus is an amazing creature, it rises from the depths of the sea, thanks to its flexible body and sinuous tentacles giving color and life light. This vision served as inspiration for the architect Giancarlo Zem, who designed an elegant collection of hanging, wall and lamp fixtures in DuPont ™ Corian® for LumineXence. Modern Corian lamps are two-color, where the floor lamp has a steel base, dynamic RGB LED technology with remote control, 210 cm high and 35 cm in diameter. Intriguing art-design objects in limited edition n. 120 pieces, signed and numbered, have become real works of contemporary art that form our environment.
Another collection of Moss Collection
Moss with soft and colored texture, which smoothly forms strange objects, inspired architect Giancarlo Zem. He created for Giovannetti a collection of luxury outdoor furniture: seating and low tables in bright, juicy colors with enveloping surfaces. Ideal for decorating the most innovative and fashionable outdoor and indoor spaces made in eco-plastic. An example of a intersting decorative set with this collection can be found here.
